I know what you mean about two wrongs making a 'meh'. After 1st child was born my immune system ate my thyroid, and the adjustment I had to make to the foreverness of that gave me a reasonalbe head start when RA came up after second boy was born. I'm very interested to hear about the deep sleep thing. I hope your changes work. I'm contemplating a swim for the very reason - I just want to feel proper tired for a change, not ill tired:) Good luck to you!

Well, there's a new meds option, but I was hoping to avoid it. However, if I have more nights like the one I just had, I think it'll be the yet more meds route for me!! I know what you mean about the diagnosis - at first it seemed like, 'Oh crap, something else to deal with,' and then I thought no, it's not really, it's something I've been dealing with for a while - it's just that now I've got some idea of HOW to deal with it!

As to the RA side of things - had my first increased MTX dose last night - we'll see if it makes any difference. (Still on a 'baby dose' - now 12.5mg)

I'm glad you're taking this well. I think after being diagnosed with RA....I mean, it is what it is. You already have it...now it just has a name, you know? Are they going to have to switch your meds around?
